This is the project I made while taking the Tanfaulk Pouch class at the Trade Wind Gallery in Phoenix Arizona.

The bag is worked in 2 pieces (left and right) of flat brick stitch done separately then joined together with a seam in the front and back.  

I used size 11° matte bronze triangle shaped beads, which make the surface look like tree bark.
