This necklace started off as a bracelet I made in a class taught at the Trade Wind Gallery in Phoenix Arizona. I took the clasps off the ends and extended the length to make this choker necklace.

This piece has Chinese turquoise donuts linked together with brick stitch using size 8° hex beads and strings of size 15° seed beads. The dangles that hang in between each turquoise donut contain various semi-precious stones such as carnelian, turquoise, lapis, jasper and malachite.
