This box was one of the first beadwork pieces after learning peyote stitch. The octogon shaped box was originally a mini terarriam. I had been looking for an interesting armature to cover with beads.

The top of the lid was covered with leather and embroidered using size 15° seed beads and turquoise cabucons. The sides of the lid and box body are covered with tubular peyote using size 15° seed beads, bugle beads and turquoise heishi.
